TGA Street Dance is a community based dance school in Crewe, which provides not only knowledge on dance but also teaches life skills and helping all of our students to be the best they can be.

Our Dance Programmes in both Street Dance and Contemporary focus not only on learning all of the fundamentals of dance and having fun whilst doing so, but we also teach the core principles of respect and discipline, as well as valuable life lessons about respecting themselves.

Dance is a great outlet to enable our students to be themselves in a safe and structured manner 100.

We focus on each individual within our lessons and help to build the confidence and self esteem, to those that may need it.

Learning street or contemporary dance with TGA can be a great way to develop confidence and social skills and also having fun and meeting new friends.

It is a great way to keep fit, improve strength and memory skills whilst being made to feel welcome as part of a social group environment.
Our classes have proved to help with concentration in not only their dance lessons, but also in their school work and home life.

We have many options for our students to progress and develop themselves further with encouragement to pursue the next level of their dance allowing our students to be rewarded for their efforts.

Further options we have available are :

Street Dance Level examinations-
Our Street Dance Level examinations gives students goals and targets to aim for, as well as being able to demonstrate their technique and skills that they have learnt in the their classes

Competition Training –
Our competition students are hand selected based on their hard work and commitment to their lessons.

We give them the opportunity to be a part of a competition team which is of their age group allowing them to compete throughout the year in national competitions

Damian Glasheen

Damian Glasheen first set up TGA Street Dance 5 years ago to provide a community based dance programme for the children of Crewe. After taking his daughter to look at local dance classes he felt there was gap in the market to have a school teaching the style that he wanted. Damian’s aim was to help children learn core values and life skills through the power of dance, teaching them that anything in life is possible if they just believe in themselves.

TGA Street Dance has over 300 children dancing every week and has dance schools in Crewe and Stoke on Trent.

"My daughter started here at the end of last year. Her confidence has grown massively since starting, she’s made some lovely friends"
